We spend so much of daily lives in ‘fight-or-flight mode and Reiki helps us to get directly in tune with our vagus nerve to send it information that we are safe and can rest deeply. Reiki stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and transports us to ‘rest and relax’ mode, allowing time for our mind and body to reset and heal.
